Day 21

We've had a quiet week. After making some calls, I was informed that Nate would have various therapists coming out to our home, rather than going in to SLO for outpatient treatments. This is to begin on Monday. I, of course, wanted everything to move along as rapidly as it had been at the hospital, but it seems a time to rest. (for Nate and I)
Steve is setting the crab pots to begin the Dungeness season today, and harvesting begins tomorrow. Cale and Joe Wells are Steve's deckhands and please pray for a safe and successful season.
Nate is reticent to post as he feels he's already had 'too much publicity' regarding his injury.
He is on facebook and seems to communicate well with all his friends.
I'll post again next week when we have received the therapist assessments and his follow up with Dr. Ramborg.
On October 5, I had written a scripture-prayer for Nate. It is found in Ephesians 3:20-21.
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
to Him be glory in the church, by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever, Amen."

Those words truly sum up the events of these last weeks. Exceedingly abundantly....for sure!
Love, n' hugs,
grateful in Los Osos,
Cathe

  1. We are so grateful that you are keeping us updated with this blog. Though I don't always leave a comment like I should...it keeps me praying in accordance to what is going on with you guys. We love your family and it's been a privelege to see him, read this blog, and just to know you all are in GOOD HANDS.
Keep up the good work, and yes! you really do need your rest! Emotions have run high and low and everywhere in between, so be kind to yourselves and let God give you rest.
