Our family is overwhelmed with the support we have gotten from our church friends our fishing friends and the community of Los Osos. Our faith in God and you all have made this journey much easier. We know that Nate is in great hands and that God is hearing every prayer offered up for Nate and our family. I trust you all had a safe halloween. We Love You, Steve Nate's Dad

day 8
Cathe and I went to the hospital this morning with the hopes that today they would wake Nate up based on yesterdays visit. It is not going to happen today. All of Nates numbers are really good but they are still weaning him off of the old sedatives and onto the new which will make it easier to wake him when they decide to do it. Naturally we were bummed but as the nurse said every day is a day closer to his recovery. We did not get any indication at this time as to when he might be awakened.

ReplyDeleteReid and I were so saddened to hear about Nate's injury. Our boys are close to his age--my heart just hurts thinking about your pain as you watch your son struggle. You are all in our prayers that God will quickly heal Nate and strengthen you both throughout this ordeal.
